Data Sections - Preview

The Linking tab in the Data Section lets you preview the various columns for the fields created in your narrative document template.

This article assumes that you have already created fields to have data in the Preview tab of the Data Section. The instructions on how to create fields can be found in the following article: Data Section - Fields

To Preview the columns, follow these steps:

  1. Log into CoAuthor

  2. Open a Project

  3. In the Documents Tab, click on the Narrative Document Name

  4. Once the Narrative Document opens in Word, click on the Add-in to open it

  5. Click on the Data Sections tab

  6. Click on the Data Section you'd like to Preview

  7. Click on the Preview tab

  8. Click on the dropdown menu

  9. Click to select a column to preview

  10. Click the eye Icon to Preview the Section

  11. Click the document icon to Preview the Full Document
    ​
