Managing User Data Fabrics

Layar allows users to view all Data Fabrics they have access to. This can be done by clicking on the Data Fabric drop-down in the top left and choosing "Manage Data Fabrics".

A sub-window will open, displaying all available Data Fabrics.

Here, you can see the following information regarding all Data Fabrics.

  • Number of Layar Systems (Providers) are connected to this environment.

  • Number of Files (Images, Tables and Documents) are in the Data Fabric.

  • Number of Connectors in the Data Fabric.

Users can also create new Data Fabrics by clicking the + sign in the top right. Clicking on one a Data Fabric, gives users more information regarding a specific Data Fabric.

Users can switch Certara.AI Apps using the top bar.

As well as the Layar REST API URL.

Other Providers can be applied to the Data Fabric

Other Users can also be provided permission to the Data Fabric.

Users can be assigned the following permissions on the Data Fabric.

  • Owner - Sets the user to be the owner of the Data Fabric.

  • Read - Gives the user read access to the Data Fabric.

  • Write - Gives the user both Read and Write access to the Data Fabric.

In the top right users can click "Done" to exit out of the Data Fabrics details. Additionally, you can click on the vertical ellipsis to "Edit", "View Details", or "Delete".
