Creating folders in Curate helps you organize document sets by keywords, creation dates, or other relevant filters. This reduces clutter and makes it easier to locate and review the right sets in response to specific queries, ultimately streamlining your document management process.

Before You Begin: Make sure you have at least one document set ready to add to a folder. If not, refer to the article "How to Create a Document Set in Curate" to get started.

To create a folder:

  1. Log in to Curate.

  2. Click the Actions button and select Create Folder.

  3. In the Create Folder modal:

    1. Enter a name in the Name field

    2. Click Save

      Your new folder will now appear in the Document Set table. It will be identified as a folder in the second column.

      Your newly created folder will be listed in the Document Set table and the document sets You will see a folder in the second column indicating it's a folder


      To add documents sets to the folder

  4. Select the checkbox next to the document set(s) you want to move.

  5. Click the Selected button

  6. Choose Move

  7. Select the folder you just created

  8. Click Choose Destination

💡Pro Tip - Folders will disappear if no documents are added upon creation.
