You can pull sources and documents straight from Vault into CoAuthor, eliminating manual uploads and keeping Veeva as your system of record.
Before You Start
Gather the following from your Veeva Vault administrator before opening CoAuthor settings:
Your Vault instance hostname
The Client ID and Client Secret from your Vault OAuth profile
The Upload AS Metadata URL from your Vault OAuth profile
The scopes your organization requires
Login to CoAuthor's Page to Connect to Veeva
Login to CoAuthor.
Click on the Admin Dashboard.
Select the Sponsor that you wish to connect Veeva to.
Click on the Storage Configuration tab.
Configure Veeva Settings
Click the Enable Veeva checkbox
In the Veeva Vault DNS field, type your Vault instance hostname.
Enter Your OAuth Credentials
Paste your OAuth Client ID from your Vault OAuth profile.
Paste your OAuth Client Secret. If you are updating an existing connection and want to keep the saved secret, leave this field blank.
Configure OAuth Endpoints
Choose one of the following options. The Metadata URL is recommended.
Option A — Metadata URL (Recommended)
Paste your entry into the OAuth Metadata URL field.
CoAuthor will auto-discover and cache the token endpoint from this URL. You do not need to fill in the Token Endpoint field.
Option B — Token Endpoint (Manual)
Leave the OAuth Metadata URL field blank.
Paste your identity provider's token endpoint directly into OAuth Token Endpoint.
In OAuth Scope, enter the scopes your organization requires.
Save and Test the Connection
Click Save Configuration.
Click Test Connection.
All connection tests and document imports are recorded in the Admin Dashboard's Audit Log.
