Loading custom templates is a built‑in capability of CoAuthor’s template library. You can upload, store, and reuse your own designs—ideal for specific layout needs or branded templates—and they become instantly available for any future project. This streamlines content creation by eliminating the need to rebuild the same structure each time.
Supported Template Types
CoAuthor-enabled templates: Templates specifically designed and optimized for use with CoAuthor.
Customer-specific templates (Secondary Tab): Custom templates created by your organization or tailored to your specific needs.
Other compatible templates: Additional template types may be supported in the future. Please check our documentation for updates on supported template formats.
How to Load Custom Templates
To load a custom template into the CoAuthor template library:
Ensure that your template is in a compatible format (e.g., Word document, HTML file).
Log in to your CoAuthor account and navigate to the Template Library section.
On the second tab labeled with your sponsor's name, click the "+ Template" button and select your custom template file.
A popup will appear prompting you to configure your new template. Here, you can select the document type you want to upload it as and use the Select File button to choose a file from your local drive.
Once you're ready, click Upload to add your new template to the workspace.
