Similar to GlobalSubmit's desktop application, the Review (Browser-based) now has a new option "Convert for Publish" that allows users to convert or import their applications to Publish.
This option is available for all eCTD applications, regardless of whether it is eCTD v4.0 or older version.
How to Import an Application to Publish
When using GlobalSubmit, users may already have eCTD sequences that were created manually, using another tool, or by a publishing partner and wish to bring in the same into GlobalSubmit's Publish.
Once the application has been uploaded through the Load platform and made available in the database, follow the steps below to import the application to Publish.
Open the application in the Review platform
Click on 'ACTIONS' button in the right top corner
Select and click on "Convert for Publish" option in the dropdown
Confirm the process by clicking on 'Convert' in the pop-up dialog box
Once confirming convert of the application, the progress can be observed in the 'Activity' section of Load platform.
Important Notes
The intention of adding this feature is to make it available for all versions of eCTD applications and not just for eCTD v4.0.
Although the feature is available to convert all eCTD applications, the converted application of non 4.0 (v3.3) will only be available in Desktop Publish platform.
Thus by using this new option, users can easily convert their applications to Publish and take advantage of the features and functionality offered by the browser-based Publish software.
