To create a new filter, select Filter by Content from the View menu.
Or click the Filter by Content icon (
).
In the Filter by Content dialog, select New to establish a new filter.
Check the module, sections, or subsections you wish to display. Unchecked modules or sections will not be displayed.
In this example, Module 3 Quality and the Quality Overall Summary in section 2.2 will be the only information displayed.
Enter a name for the filter and press OK.
In this example, the filter has been given the name of Quality as shown by the following screenshot.
Select the filter and press Active, then OK.
Once applied, the TOC displays only the Quality Overall Summary and Quality (Module 3) sections.
Once a filter has been saved, it can be accessed by either:
Selecting Filter by Content from the View menu and choosing the saved filter’s name,
Or clicking the Filter by Content icon and choosing the saved filter’s name from the dropdown.
Note: The Filter by Content option affects all views: Life Cycle, Current, Regulatory Activity, and Sequence.
Share Content Filters
You can share content filters with others via email. Simply attach the file that is stored on your computer at:
C:\Users\<User name>\AppData\Roaming\GlobalSubmit\Review\<file name.enf>
By default, the AppData folder is hidden in Windows Explorer. To access the AppData folder:
Open Windows Explorer.
Select View.
Check the Hidden Items box.
Or
To open the folder without having to navigate, open up Run from the start menu and enter in %appdata% in the field.
The recipient will save the filter file under the same location on their C:\ drive. Using the example shown above, the file name would be Quality.enf.).
