Assumptions

Users should be familiar with:

  • Windows operating system, including Windows Explorer

  • eCTD standard and guidelines

Software Compatibility

GlobalSubmit is compatible with all submission publishing software vendors that produce CTD-compliant submissions. If the publishing software does not produce fully compliant CTD submissions, the submission may not display as intended.

Your company must use GlobalSubmit Validate to initially load, or process an application before authors, regulatory operations, reviewers and others can use Desktop to view an application. Validate creates the .enx files (also called an XFile) required for Desktop to function. Once this occurs, both Validate and Desktop can be used simultaneously

For Publish, if role-based security is enabled, a user must be granted publishing rights to perform any publishing activities. If role-based security is not used, any user can perform any standard or administrative publishing action
