Embedding sources enables Certara Generative AI to leverage Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) for more precise responses. When a generation request is sent to Layar, the vector database is queried to check if the source has already been embedded. Users also have the option to manually embed documents, providing greater control over the embedding process.

To access the Create Embeddings/Document Settings in Layar, follow these simple steps:
Log into Layar
Create a document set as outlined here: How to Create Document Sets
Click on a Set
Click on the vertical ellipsis
Click on Create Embeddings
Select the settings for each item, then click on the Create Embeddings button
