Comparing Grouped Filters vs. Separate Filters: Understanding Their Impact
Grouping Filters:
When you group filters, the conditions within the group are treated as a single logical block.
All conditions within the group must be met together.
This is useful when you want to combine specific criteria that work hand-in-hand.
For example, if you group filters for "post clicks" and "web visits," both conditions must be true for the filter to apply.
Adding Filters Separately:
When you add filters separately, each condition is evaluated independently.
The conditions are combined using "AND" or "OR" logic, but they do not interact as a block.
This means each condition must be true on its own for the filter to apply.
For example, if you add separate filters for "User ID is 1234" and "recent activity," both conditions must be true independently.
In summary, grouping filters creates a combined requirement where all conditions must be met together while adding filters separately evaluates each condition independently.
