The Settings tab in the Data section of the CoAuthor Word add-in is a configuration hub that enables users to rename the title of their section, preview the table and subject column used to populate the section, and most importantly, tailor the text displayed in the generated document.
How to Rename a Section
To rename a Data Section, follow these steps:
Log into CoAuthor
Open up a Project
In the Documents Tab, click on the Narrative Document Name
Once the Narrative Document opens in Word, click on the Add-in to open it
Click on the Data Sections tab
Click on the ellipsis
Click on Settings
In the Settings tab, update the title
Click Update
The name of the section has been successfully updated!
Table and Subject Column
The Table and Subject Column are designated for viewing purposes only. The displayed selections represent the criteria utilized in the creation of the data set.
Being able to view the table and subject column in the settings tab is important for several reasons:
